A p600/620 will be a little better but more expensive still, well above $50.įor GPU passthrough - if you're willing to go used, workstation GPUs are a great value and give you much more of a selection to choose from with your single slot restriction.
If you don't have an integrated GPU you can use, though, the P400 someone else mentioned is probably a good choice for video transcoding - it's a little bit less powerful than the GPUs I mention below, but it's newer, meaning it will have more up-to-date support for video codecs.
